I’ve been telling people for years that I wanted to start a podcast, but things always seemed to get in the way. “I would start tomorrow, but the Yankees are in the ALCS,” I’d say. “Plus, that 20 pack of McNuggets isn’t going to eat itself.”
But today, I’m excited to announce that I’m finally giving podcasting a try. Bonus: I managed to wake my son up only five times while recording the first episode!
You can listen to the first episode here. Or if you’re on the go, you can download it here (and subscribe for future episodes!). With any luck, these will also be available on iTunes, Sticher, and anywhere else you get your podcasts.
In the near future, you’ll hear more about my painful 2018 NYC Marathon experience, my opinions about some new energy gel flavors, and I’m even going to force a few of my friends to join me for conversations about upcoming marathons. Spoiler: we’re particularly excited to see how Molly Huddle does in London.
Huge thanks to my wife, Jess, for putting up with me as I talked her ear off about all of my ideas for this show. Also, thanks to Greg Scalera for lending me some music, which will (hopefully) make my speaking voice a little less grating.
